Injuries plague Ba camp ahead of Nadi clash

Ba is facing challenges with multiple key players sidelined due to injuries and suspensions as they prepare for their Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 7 clash against Nadi.

President Azam Ali revealed the extent of the team’s injury woes, which have led to a reliance on younger players to fill the gaps.

Mohammad Fataul Raheem remains out due to a lingering injury, while Faazil Ali is suspended after copping a red card last weekend.

Additionally, Raj Pillay will also miss the upcoming game, and Misiwani Nairube’s participation is uncertain with only a fifty percent chance of recovery in time for the match.

Penisoni Tirau has been ruled out as well, following a recent physio report confirming his unavailability.

“We are just keeping our fingers crossed because we need our U19 players in the field. Trainings have been going on well, the only major concern for us is the injury concerns.” Ali told FijiLive.

The Nadi vs Ba match kicks off at 3pm tomorrow at Prince Charles Park.
