Fiji’s 2016 Olympic gold medal winning coach Ben Ryan has thrown all his support behind his former captain Osea Kolinisau.
As the Kolinisau coached Fiji Airways Fijian Men’s 7s side finished in a disappointing ninth place in the Singapore 7s, Ryan took to social media to render his support for the team.
“Watched the the mighty Fiji play in Singapore back here in London and saw a tonne of good things,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
“Been a baptism of fire for Osea but he is one of life’s winners and he’s going to do incredible things for Fiji.”
He also mentioned that he will be in Fiji next month and he cannot wait to visit the country.
While the purpose of his visit is believed to be a holiday, he could link with the team and provide them some valuable knowledge ahead of their Olympic Games campaign.
