Marist on track to clinch Boys title

Marist Brothers High School added another Coca-Cola Games gold medal on the road to victory after claiming the Senior Boys 4×100 metres final at the HFC Bank Stadium today.

An unofficial tally has Marist with 12 gold medals, six medals above contenders Suva Grammar in second place.

The running quad of Aisea Nawai, Mesulame Tuigau, Manasa Qalo and Josefa Dinono ran in a strong time of 42.43 seconds.

Queen Victoria School claimed the silver medal with a time of 43.05 seconds with Ratu Kadavulevu settling for third and the bronze medal with a time of 43.17 seconds.
