Non-essential civil servants told to exercise discretion

All non-essential civil servants across the country are advised to assess their situation and decide accordingly whether to report to work or work from home today.

This is following the approval of the Prime Minister and careful consideration of the adverse weather conditions presently affecting the country.

The Prime Minister is also urging other employers to exercise discretion and advise their employees accordingly.

Rabuka said the safety of employees and their families must be prioritized aboce  we must prioritise the safety of our employees and their families above all else.

The Ministry of Civil Service and the National Disaster Management Office will continue to monitor the current situation and issue advisories accordingly.
