The Social Democratic Liberal Party senior member and former Minister Losena Tabanavau Salabula has died.
The news has been confirmed by the Secretariat and posted on SODELPA’s social media page.
In the statement posted, it said Salabula’s contributions to the political landscape of Fiji have been tremendous – Throughout her career, the late Salabula served in various capacities, demonstrating her commitment to public service.
While her tenure was marked by both achievements and challenges, her dedication to her constituents and the betterment of all Fijians cannot be understated.
SODELPA said: “In this time of mourning, our thoughts are with Salabula’s family, friends, and all those who knew her.”
“May they find solace in cherished memories and the enduring impact of her legacy. As we reflect on her life and legacy, let us also remember the importance of unity and compassion in our shared journey towards a better future for all Fijians,” the statement said.
The late former Minister will be laid to rest today.
