Three Tailevu Naitasiri players who were anticipating a move to Suva this season have had their applications rejected by Fiji Football Association.
Contemplating a move to the Whites camp were goalkeeper Jason Rokovucake and defenders Isikeli Tuiloma and Asaeli Tunidau.
Fiji FA chief executive, Mohammed Yusuf said the three players have valid contracts with Tailevu Naitasiri and they cannot move in this window.
“We looked at all the documents and found out that they still have valid contracts which makes them ineligible to make a switch.”
“Districts who are negotiating with players need to be sure that they only approach those who are have gone out of contract or are completing their contract soon.”
“Violations can lead to fines and we are trying our best to educate all parties involved about transfer rules,” said Yusuf.
