We want to dictate the tempo of the game: Kolinisau

New Fiji 7s Head Coach, Osea Kolinisau wants the national team to dictate and play high tempo game, and believes this will be achieved through good fitness.

After conducting his first session with the team in Suva yesterday, the former national skipper said he was impressed with how the players responded.

He said defence is another aspect that he is working on now.

“We want pride ourselves on our defence as this will win us championships,” he told FRU Media.

Kolinisau added that the final team for the upcoming Hong Kong and Singapore 7s will be selected after the Marist 7s and will be based in Suva throughout the remainder of the HSBC SVNS series.
