Super W champions Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua today begun preparations for their title defence.
A majority of the 42 member squad are in team camp in Legalega, Nadi.
“They begin their preparations today for what is expected to be a good season next year,” Fiji Rugby chief executive John O’Connor said.
“It is the first season of many, so at the moment the management and coaches will take them through a a series of fitness test to gauge where they are at the moment.
“We are confident we will prepare and have a solid team by the start of the 2023 season.”
