2 arrested over importation of illicit drugs

A joint operation between the Fiji Police Narcotics Bureau, Fiji Revenue and Customs Service and New Zealand Customs resulted in the seizure of more than 10kg of white substances believed to be methamphetamine.

Two men, aged 36 and 42-years, alleged to have been involved in the importation of the illicit substances were arrested in Nadi.

The seized substances have been sent for analysis.
