Ba Captain Praneel Naidu will be out of action for two months as he is nursing a knee injury.
This was confirmed to FijiLive by Ba Football Association President Azam Ali.
“We’ll surely miss him, his leadership, experience, and guidance for our young players are invaluable,” said Ali.
He says Naidu’s return date cannot be precisely determined at this moment, but his recovery is expected to span approximately two months.
In his absence, former Nadroga reps Mitieli Naiviro and Kalaveti Sivoi are expected to share the defending role from the left back’s position.
