Captain Derenalagi to return against Rebels

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Captain Meli Derenalagi will return in Round 7 Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Rebels in Melbourne on Friday.

Derenalagi was rested in the team’s 31-13 win over the Western Force but will start at Number 8 ahead of Elia Canakaivata who drops back in the reserves.

Powerful front rower Haereiti Hetet retains his place at loosehead prop with Tevita Ikanivere at hooker.

Veteran prop Mesake Doge remains at tighthead prop while locks Mesake Vocevoce and Leone Rotuisolia also retain their spots in the middle row.

Vilive Miramira returns to the starting line-up at blindside flanker, replacing an injured Etonia Waqa, while Kitione Salawa starts at openside flanker again this week.

Frank Lomani starts at halfback alongside Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula who is at flyhalf.

Epeli Momo gets another start on the left wing this week with Selestino Ravutaumada on the right.

On the bench, Byrne has named Zuriel Togiatama covering at hooker, with props Livai Natave and Jone Koroiduadua as loosehead and tighthead props respectively.
