Champs Nadi in tough Muslim IDC pool

Defending champions Nadi has been drawn in a tough pool for next month’s Fiji Muslim Sports Association (FMSA) Inter District Championship in Lautoka.

The Jetsetters are set to face stiff competition from Suva, Valelevu and Nasinu in Pool 1.

Host Lautoka is in Pool 2 with Varavu from Ba, Makoi and Sigatoka.

Pool 3 has Drasa, Maigania and Maro while last season’s runners-up Ba are drawn in Pool 4 with Cuvu, Navua and Rewa.

Speaking after the official launch and pool draws, FMSA President Haji Javed Ahmed expressed gratitude to major sponsors Tebara for their continued support in making this tournament possible.

He emphasized the importance of unity and sportsmanship in fostering community bonds and wished all participating teams the best of luck.

The tournament will be played at Churchill Park from 10-13 May.
