Eddie Jones appointed Wallabies Coach

Eddie Jones has been appointed the head coach of the Wallabies.

He replaces New Zealander Dave Rennie who has been sacked from the role.

Jones, who previously coached the Wallabies from 2001 to 2005, has signed a five-year deal through to 2027.

The 62-year-old was dismissed by England last month after seven years in the position.

He will start with Rugby Australia at the end of January and his contract covers two World Cups and the British and Irish Lions tour in 2025.
