19-year-old Nikolau Miliakere of Holy Cross College claimed her first gold medal in the senior girls Javelin event during Day 1 of the Coca-Cola Fiji Finals at HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
This is her final year in college after participating in the games for three years.
Meanwhile, Timaima Vunise of Tailevu North College took silver, while Livia Senibulileka from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial secured the bronze medal.
