Fijian Drua in Top 8 after second home win

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has moved up to the eighth spot in Super Rugby Pacific standing after its 39-36 golden point victory over the Waratahs in Lautoka on Saturday.

The Mick Byrne coached side has two wins to its name, both of which came at Churchill Park.

And the aim definitely will be getting a third on home soil this Saturday, when the side takes on 11th place Western Force who stunned the Queensland Reds in the weekend.

The Hurricanes remain on top of the table with 22 points, the Chiefs are second with 18 points and the Brumbies are third, also with 18 points.

The Blues, Reds, Highlanders, Rebels and Drua complete the top eight.

Moana Pasifika, Waratahs, Western Force and defending champions, the Crusaders are in the bottom four.
