Nagonelevu looks up to elder brother

Baby Bula Boys defender Waisea Nagonelevu will draw inspiration from elder brother and national representative Simione Nabenu heading into the Oceania Football Confederation U17 Championship in Suva.

The 17-year-old Ba Methodist Student said although his big brother will be a reputation to live up to, creating his own legacy will also be important.

“He has done a lot, but I have learnt from his sacrifices and hard work and will also strive to do the same,” Nagonelevu said.

“For me I want to make sure I do my best at this tournament, especially doing all the important hard-work in training because that is where I’ll prepare myself best.”

The young lad from Rokovuaka Village in Ra is confident the Junior Bula Boys will do well at the OFC U17 Championship.
