Remain grounded and humble, Officers reminded

Divisional Police Commander North, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kemueli Baledrokadroka has urged officers serving in the Northern Division to remain honest, stay grounded and humble whilst carrying out their duties.

Speaking to officers during their thanksgiving church service, SSP Baledrokadroka said, “Nothing is guaranteed in this world. Our tomorrow is not guaranteed, and in fact the next few minutes is not guaranteed.”

“As we gather here for our thanksgiving service, I ask that you give thanks and take a moment to count your blessings.”

“In our line of work where we face many challenges and obstacles, being resolute in the face of adversity will be our greatest armor when defending our organisation.”

He added, “If you know that you are being honest and faithful in the conduct of your work, forge on. If you are not being honest, change now, before, things catch up to you”.
“As you go out into our communities, remember, we are all equal and treat everyone the same and most importantly, remain humble.”

“We are temporary holders of our posts. One day, we will be on the other side of the police service counter, so remain humble always.”
