Olympic gold medalist Napolioni Bolaca and Fijiana 7s winger Laisani Likuceva are set to make a triumphant return to the rugby field.
The couple who tied the knot in 2023, will don their rugby boots for the upcoming Vancouver 7s tournament scheduled from February 23rd to 25th.
Bolaca will make a comeback after a 10-month hiatus due to a major surgery in New Zealand while Likuceva’s return comes after nearly two years away from the sport, during which she focused on personal responsibilities, including motherhood.
Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s Head Coach Saiasi Fuli said he looks forward for Likuceva’s return, acknowledging she had been away to fulfill personal responsibilities, including motherhood, and welcomed her back to the squad.
