Suva to fine-tune goalkeeping and attack

Suva Football Association’s Head Coach Shabneel Prasad says the team will intensify goalkeeping training and focus on capitalizing on scoring opportunities.

In the R8 DFPL match against Lautoka, the whites witnessed several missed chances that could have changed the game’s outcome.

“We had six opportunities that we missed against Lautoka, and we’re going to focus heavily on our goalkeeper training as well.”

However, the Suva coach remains optimistic about future games and is focused on addressing the team’s weaknesses.

“Things are lining up as shown in the game against Lautoka. We’re trying out our youth boys and we’ll make sure we come up strong against Nadi,” said Prasad.

The Capital City boys will face the Nadi Green Machines this Sunday at 2pm at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

Currently, Suva is at the bottom of the table with 5 points, while Nadi is in 5th place with 11 points.
