Fiji Football Association has cleared Labasa midfielder Edwin Sahayam to feature for Lautoka this season.
Fiji FA chief executive, Mohammed Yusuf said Sahayam’s case was heard today and the player was cleared as he did not owe his previous district any dues.
“We looked at his application and all the documents thoroughly and the player has been released to play for his new district.”
Sahayam will join his former district mate Ilisoni Logaivou as Lautoka’s new signings and is likely to make the match day squad against Rewa in the OFC Champions League playoff tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
