Saukuru promises to boost athletic facilities

Minister for Youth and Sports, Jese Saukuru has pledged increased investment in sports infrastructure to foster aspiring athletes and facilitate major competitions.

In his opening remark at the revival of the Ba Netball Association at the Ba Market Grounds, Saukuru praised the Association’s work.

“We’re committed to investing in our nation’s sports infrastructure. The right facilities and resources are crucial to help our athletes aim for excellence.”

“Their dedication to training programs, coaching clinics, and talent spotting is commendable. This club is set to host local, regional, and national netball competitions, attracting a diversity of teams and players.”

He was impressed by the community’s passion for the sport and said the Ba Netball Association Club stands as a symbol of the local community’s dedication and love for netball.

“It’s here where we will nurture future stars and foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.”

“It’s heartening to see the Ba Netball Association Club active once more. I want to commend the Association and all involved for their tireless efforts. They’ve turned this dream into reality.”

With new promises for development and a revived passion for netball, the Ba Netball Association is ready to bring new energy to the sport and the community it serves.
