The matter in the case of the former Fiji Link Chief Executive Shaenaz Voss will be called again on April 29, for Agreed Facts to be submitted by the defence to the prosecution.
This is after the lawyer from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions said that this would be the easiest way for the matter to proceed and save time.
Defence Counsel Davenesh Sharma did not object to the prosecution’s request to file the summary of Agreed Facts.
Voss is charged with one count of failure to comply with the requirements of the operator’s airline security programme.
It is alleged that in October 2018, at the Nausori International Airport in the Central Division, being the CEO of Fiji Link, Voss failed to comply with the requirements of the Fiji Link Operations Airline Security Programme on board the domestic flight FJ 32.
Voss had pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Bail has been extended to the accused.
The matter was called before Resident Magistrate Vinti V Prasad today and has been adjourned to April 29 for Agreed Facts and mention.
