Government will fully reinstate the $33 million grant to the University of the South Pacific in the financial year.
In his 2023-24 National Budget address in Parliament today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad said Government has released $10 million in payments towards the outstanding grant owed to USP.
He also mentioned that an additional $20 million will be allocated towards the outstanding payment.
