Fiji’s flag bearer, Taniela Rainibogi secured three Gold medals in Weightlifting at the Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands today.
Rainibogi in his first Games appearance dominated the Men’s 109kg category.
The 25-year-old won Gold in the Snatch, Clean and Jerk and in the total lift.
He lifted 165kg in the Snatch and 192kg in the Clean and Jerk, achieving the highest Total of 357 in the category.
He also won the Oceania Gold, his fourth.
