Fiji looks to working closely with Aust

Minister for External Trade, Manoa Kamikamica, received a courtesy visit from the Australian High Commission, Chargé d’affaires John Williams.

During the meeting, Kamikamica highlighted Fiji’s intention of continuing to work closely with Australia on trade and investment front, especially in areas such as Information and Communication Technology, Business Process Outsourcing, manufacturing and commercial agriculture.

Kamikamica also highlighted other critical areas like improving the business environment in Fiji, digitalisation, economic diversification, market access and tacking of non-tariff barriers as some of the immediate priorities.

“Fiji’s commitment to coordinate and amplify the Pacific region’s voice in the multilateral forums on issues critical to Fiji and the region,” Kamikamica said.
