The Army Service Women’s team and the shadow Fijiana side Mount Masada will clash in the final of the 48th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva this afternoon.
Army secured their spot with a 28-22 victory over Seahawks, while Mount Masada dominated Savusavu 33-0 in their semi-final.
In men’s competition, the second round of eliminations saw tight contests and decisive victories.
DXC Babarians overcame Flame Tree Coloisuva with a 12-7 win, Police Blue won against Ratu Filise 22-0, and the New Zealand 7s team narrowly defeated Ravuka Sharks 14-7.
Raiwasa Taveuni’s 19-0 won over Navala, Dominion Brothers’ 24-0 triumphed over Joma Brothers, DXC Army Green defeated Fire Rugby 17-7, Navy overcame Wainimala Babas 17-0, and EMS Tabadamu secured a 19-0 win against Uluinakau Babas.
