Ba holds champs Labasa in Super League

Ba Women’s led by Fiji Kulas star striker Cema Nasau secured a 1-1 draw against champions Labasa in Women Super League yesterday.

Shayal Sindhika opened the scoring for Labasa, but Nasau’s timely comeback ensured the match ended in a stalemate.

This was Labasa’s Round 1 match in the Women’s Super League.

The doubleheader at the Fiji FA Ba Academy grounds also featured another match where the Nadi women’s team triumphed over Nadroga with an impressive 9-0 victory.

Meanwhile, at Fiji FA Vatuwaqa, the Rewa women’s team delivered a commanding performance, thrashing Suva 13-0 in what was also Suva’s first match in the Women’s Super League this season.
