A Police investigation is underway following the discovery of a body believed to be that of a 27-year-old man at Waisali Hill in Savusavu this morning.
As investigators try to piece evidence to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death, Police say that the initial information recieved was that the victim had failed to return home last night after driving his taxi.
The victim’s taxi was found abandoned at the Waisali Hill near the water source, and a search conducted around the area led to the discovery of the victim’s body further downhill.
Officers are still at the scene as investigations continue.
