The Nausori Magistrates Court has granted former Fiji Link Chief Executive Shaenaz Voss to travel to London in July to visit her mother who is ill
The Court also deferred the pre-trial conference for Voss to August 6.
The matter was called before Resident Magistrate Viniti Prasad, yesterday.
The Court has scheduled her trial for October 15 and 16, where Voss is charged with unlawful carriage of firearms on board a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
She is charged with failure to comply with the requirements of the operator’s airline security program.
The case relates to the bodyguards of the former Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum allegedly carrying firearms on the Fiji Link flight.
It is understood that Voss on the 8th of October in 2018 at the Nausori Airport, being the Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Link failed to comply with the requirements of the Fiji Link Operation Airline Security programme on board domestic Flight FJ32.
The matter has been adjourned to 6 August for Pre-Trial Conference, at 9:30 am.
