Multi-starrer Bollywood action drama RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) has been nominated in two categories of this year’s Golden Globes ceremony which will take place in Los Angeles on 11 January.
Prominent South superstars Ram Charan and Junior NTR and filmmaker SS Rajamouli will be attending the ceremony.
The film has been nominated in the Best Picture – Non-English Language category. It will compete against All Quiet on the Western Front, Argentina, 1985, Close and Decision to Leave.
The second nomination is for the RRR song ‘Naatu Naatu’ in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture category.
The song will compete against ‘Carolina’ from Where the Crawdads Sing, ‘Ciao Papa’ from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, ‘Hold My Hand’ from Top Gun: Maverick and ‘Lift Me Up’ from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
According to the Bollywood Hungama box office report, the film made a lifetime collection of Rs. 274.31 crores in Hindi.
Other popular stars in the movies are Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. The movie is said to be amongst the most acclaimed Indian films of 2022.

Game Of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel has watched RRR and has called it a “’sick movie’. The film has garnered immense appreciation in the West.” The actress took to Twitter.
