Dwayne’s mum Ata survives horrific car crash

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s mum Ata, survived a horrific car crash in California on Thursday that left her vehicle mangled.

Johnson shared the news with his 361 million Instagram followers on Thursday alongside a photo of the car that was left with a beat up hood and bumper.

He said his 74-year-old mother appears to be mostly okay and thanked the city’s police and firefighters “for being so caring & focused.”

He said first responders remained on the phone with him throughout the night and provided him with constant updates.

“Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night,” he captioned the pic on his Instagram page.

“She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated. This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide. She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real.”

The car was possibly a present from Dwayne — he gifted her with a Cadillac for Christmas back in December of 2021, though that Cadillac in photos he shared at the time was white.
