Rauluni picks Tawake to start in Super W grand final

Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women Head Coach Mosese Rauluni has introduced Bitila Tawake as the starting tighthead prop ahead of the much-anticipated Super W grand final against the New South Wales Waratahs on Sunday in Brisbane.

Tawake comes in for Ana Korovata in a side that sees minimal changes from the semi-final lineup.

In the front row, Salanieta Nabuli continues at loosehead prop and Keleni Marawa at hooker, alongside Tawake.

The lock positions are held by Jade Coates and Asinate Serevi.

The back row remains unchanged with Nunia Daunimoala at blindside flanker, Sulita Waisega at openside, and captain Karalaini Naisewa at number 8.

The halfback pairing features Setaita Railumu and flyhalf Jeniffer Ravutia, with the wings occupied by Adita Milinia and Merewairita Neivosa.

Centre combinations see Merewalesi Rokouono at second five with Vani Arei at outside centre.

Speedstar Atelaite Buna retains her position as the fullback.

Support from the bench includes hooker Litia Marama, reserve props Loraini Senivutu and Tiana Robanakadavu, with Mereoni Nakesa and Fulori Rotagavira covering the middle and back rows.

Evivi Senikarivi provides backup at halfback, Salanieta Kinita is the reserve flyhalf, and Repeka Tove covers the rest of the backline.

The Fijian Drua Women are set to kick off their third grand final appearance against the New South Wales Waratahs  at 4:00 PM FJT
