Fiji-based reps named in Solomon Is squad

A number of Fiji-based Solomon Islanders have been named in their country’s provisional squad for the upcoming OFC Nations Cup.

In-form Navua attacker Ali Mekawir headlines the list of Fiji-based players announced in the 43-member squad.

Others include newly acquired Rewa defender Leon Kofana, Nasinu captain Don Keana, Nadroga’s William Komasi and Barrie Limoki and Nadi’s Junior Rocky.

Players named in the squad who have previously played for Fijian teams include Marlon Tahioa, Alvin Hou, Joses Nawo, Gagame Feni, Atkin Kaua and Patrick Taroga.
