The Fiji Pine Group (FPG) of Companies has declared a gross bonus payout of $348,338.39 to 331 employees on a performance pay basis.

“Over the past years, year-end recognition (bonus) at Fiji Pine Group of Companies was awarded on an “across the board basis” without any assessment of individual performance; this included performers and non-performers.”

“The FPG through the various reforms continues to look after the welfare of its workers. During the 2 years of COVID-19 pandemic our workers continued to be employed, receive increments and year-end bonuses.”

“We empower our employees to take control of their performance pays by ensuring that they meet their respective KPI’s. In the process we provide them regular feedback. We would like to assist our workers in achieving their maximum KPI rating thus maximize on their year-end incentive pays.”

“It is a fair system of recognition where workers with star performance get star reward. It drives productivity and efficiency.”

Kumar said to qualify for year-end performance, pay; employees had to cross the minimum KPI assessed rating of 40 per cent.

“This year’s maximum potential performance pay was 10 per cent of the base annual pay. The assessed KPI percentage is applied to the maximum potential bonus.”

“The maximum amount of performance pay that a worker received was $1,704.41 and $2,262.00 for weekly and staff positions respectively.”
