The FijiFirst party and its leader Voreqe Bainimarama continue to maintain a strong lead in the 2022 General Election following the release of 1053 of the 2071 polling stations results by the Fijian Elections Office at 12 midday today.
FijiFirst is leading with 83,234 votes equating to 41.81 per cent of votes accounted so far.
Bainimarama has secured 56,611 votes (28.43 per cent of votes accounted).
The People’s Alliance Party and its leader Sitiveni Rabuka is second in the race. The party has 71,098 votes (35.71 per cent) while Rabuka has 29,965 votes (15.05 per cent).
Professor Biman Prasad led National Federation Party has 16,813 votes (8.44 per cent of votes accounted for so far. NFP has managed to secure five seats.
Social Democratic Liberal Party has 10,856 votes, Fiji Labour Party moves up with 5,896 votes, Unity Fiji has 5855 votes, We Unite Fiji Party has 3273 votes, All Peoples Party has 1449 votes, New Generation Party has 477 while Independent candidate Rajendra Sharma has 95 votes and Ravinesh Reddy has 50 votes.
