Fiji’s journey at the Mecca of Sevens is more than just a campaign for victory; it will be a quest for redemption at one of its favourite hunting grounds.
Under New Head Coach Osea Kolinisau, a revered figure in Fiji 7s circles and an instrumental player in past Fijian successes, the team is expected to blend experience with fresh energy.
In Pool A, Fiji is set to face stiff competition against France, Australia, and Canada, testing their mettle from the get-go.
Pool B presents a clash of titans with Great Britain, table leaders Argentina, the USA, and the defending champions New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Pool C features Ireland, Spain, Samoa, and South Africa.
Fiji will open their Hong Kong 7s campaign against Australia at 9.30pm 5th April, they will then take on Canada at 12.33am 6th April and play France at 5.43pm next in their final pool match.
