A 25-year-old woman of Tuatua, Labasa was yesterday arrested and charged with one count of Obtaining Financial Advantage.
It is alleged that between the 01st to the 03rd of March last year, she contacted the victim and misrepresented herself to be a friend stating that she had mistakenly send her One Time Password code to her number.
The victim without hesitation gave her OTP code which allowed the suspect to successfully transfer $4,005 to her account.
She will be appearing at the Labasa Magistrates Court today.
