The Navua Magistrates Court has remanded a 25-year-old man who is alleged to have sexually assaulted and unlawfully wounded his 3-year-old step-daughter.
The suspect is alleged to have slapped the victim who is a special needs child when she refused to eat, burnt her legs with tobacco and sexually assaulted her.
The case has been transferred to the High Court in Suva and will recalled on 1 March 2024.
