National defender Gabiriele Matanisiga has signed with Wellington Olympic for the 2024 season.
The 27-year-old former Rewa rep trialed with the Kiwi club last month and was today confirmed as a new signing.
The former Police officer started his football career at the age of 15 for Seaqaqa before moving to Labasa and later to Rewa.
He has made four international appearances for the Bula Boys and has also represented the country in age-grade and Beach Soccer competitions.
Meanwhile, Wellington Olympic will face Auckland City in the two-legged OFC Champions League qualifiers.
