Nand eager to guide Nadro next season

Re-elected Member of Parliament Joseph Nand is eager to guide the Nadroga football team in the 2023 season.

Nand told FijiLive that he is always ready to put his hands up for Nadroga after helping the side finish seventh in the Digicel Premier League and bow out undefeated in the Fiji FACT and BOG tournament.

“I had district pride so I took some time, I think one year I did coaching for Nadroga football,” the 51-year-old said.

“Coaching is in my heart. I’ve been a coach and I still want to be a coach. I will always be a coach. I’ve been a former player.” Nadroga is at my heart so I’d like to continue coaching Nadroga and then we did very well this year. So basically I’m thankful for the support of my leaders, my family and my children.”

“I may be a Labasa man but I’m settled in Nadroga so I’m eager to continue coaching Nadroga. The district needs me. If I have the blessing of my leaders and if the Nadroga district officials want me then I’m always available to coach.”
