No national team for local tournaments

New Fiji 7s head coach Osea Kolinisau has made it clear that there will no Fiji Barbarians team taking part in local tournaments.

The former national skipper instead wants all national reps to  appear for their respective clubs on the local scene.

In an interview with FRU Media, he said players will be released to play for their individual clubs in the upcoming Tabadamu and Marist 7s tournaments.

“There will be no Fiji Barbarians side taking part in the local tournaments and I want the boys to have a good outing with their teams with their own clubs.”

“We will be looking at the Marist tournament and based on our selection criteria we might find a bolster in that tournament,” Kolinisau said.
