People’s Alliance leads latest tally

The People’s Alliance is leading the result tally of the 2022 General Election following the final release of 283 of the 2071 polling stations by the Fijian Elections Office.

The Sitiveni Rabuka led party has so far secured 10,960 votes (54.63 percent of votes accounted so far) while FijiFirst is second with 4430 votes (22.08pc).

The Social Democratic Liberal Party has 1633 votes, National Federation Party has 1053 votes, Unity Fiji has 795 votes, All People’s Party has 385 votes, Fiji Labour Party has 383 votes, We Unite Fiji Party has 356 votes, New Generation Party has 55 votes while independent candidates Rajendra Sharma and Ravinesh Reddy have 10 and 2 votes respectively.

In terms of results by candidates, Rabuka has so far gathered 2741 votes and is closely followed by Voreqe Bainimarama who has 2732 votes.
