A heavy rain alert remains in force for the whole of Fiji, while a flash flood alert remains in force for all flash flood-prone areas, small streams, and low-lying areas of Viti Levu.
The Fiji Meteorological Service in its latest bulletin said a trough of low pressure remains slow-moving over the southern parts of the country and associated cloud and rain will continue to affect most parts of the group until tomorrow.
The forecast for tonight is occasional rain, heavy at times, and a few thunderstorms over Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Moala and Southern Lau groups.
Isolated heavy falls may lead to flash flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas.
