New Zealand 7s duo Akuila Rokolisoa and Tim Mikkelson have been ruled out of the Los Angeles 7s.
Rokolisoa, who was nominated for World Rugby’s 7s Player of the Year in 2023, has picked up a leg injury while Mikkelson pulled up with a sore hamstring at Vancouver.
Youngster Jayden Keelan has been called into the squad as an injury replacement.
The Kiwis are in Pool B with host USA, Samoa and Australia.
