Significant progress in water restoration: WAF

The Water Authority of Fiji has made significant progress in restoring water supply to areas affected by recent disruptions in Savura.

Water supply has been restored to Mead Rd, Bay View Heights, Yohan Place, Vuibau, Grisworld, Sukanaivalu Rd, Nabua Town, Nabua Rd, Wailoku Rd, Novotel Lami, Ki St, Lami Sch, Nakula Meth Church, Lower Valenicina, Kaunitoni, Kauvula Pl, Kaudamu Pl, Ballantine Memorial School, Amputch, Petrie Rd, Opp Deovji, Deovji Tamavua, Tamavua Koro, Princes St (from Deovji to Loa St), Upper Ragg Avenue, Rewa St (lower), Kikau St, Talasiga St, Sese St, Dhanji Rd, Howell Rd (lower), Rose Pl, Alexander Rd, Milverton, Joe Singh Rd, Matanitobua, Borron, Lekutu St, Armstrong Rd, Wilkinson Rd, Hunter St, Laucala Bay Rd (& Feeder Rds), Bau Rd (& Feeder Rd), Lekutu St, Shalimar St, Rt Sukuna Rd,Shalimar St, Belo Rd, Waimanu Rd, Kanavi St, Ruve St, Dilio St, Nabua Muslim League, Namena Rd, Bidesi Place, Kaka St, Kula St, Gaji Rd, Beddoes Rd, Karan Singh Rd, Koroi Place, Upper Falvey Rd, Udit Narayan Rd, Jay Ben Pl, Lawedua Rd, Aidney St. Lagilagi Housing, Jittu Estate, Waimanu Rd, Extension St, CWM Hosp, Sawani St, Toganivalu Sr, Mal St and Moti St.

WAF is still working on restoring water supply back to the remaining areas such as Samabula North, elevated areas of Delainavesi past Ballantine Memorial School, Upper Lami Village, elevated are of Lami Town such as Nakula, Naimawi, Waivote, Waimate, Qauia Street, Navikinikini, Vatuvia, upper Kalekana and the wider Veisari area from Wailekuti to Togalevu Naval Base.

Water carting teams are focused on these remaining areas to ensure everyone gets back to normal as soon as possible.
