Argentinian Nicolas Bobadilla who featured for Ba in the Pacific Community Cup in Fiji last year has signed again for Manurewa AFC in the Northern Premier League in New Zealand this year.
Manurewa AFC which finished second in Division one confirmed the nippy defender’s signing yesterday after playing a huge role in the club’s promotion to the Northern National League
His brilliant performance with Manurewa attracted the attention of the Ba officials in November and was roped into the Men-in-Black squad where he showcased his talent and helped the side win the Pacific Cup.
Manurewa AFC also stated that Bobadilla’s most memorable moment was scoring the equaliser in the 89th minute and then the winner in extra time in their 3-2 victory over East Coast Bays, guaranteeing the side promotion last year- all on a fractured knee.
Leaders West Coast Rangers also promoted to the Northern National League.
