Suva’s Nand leads Golden Boot race

In-form national striker Merrill Nand is leading the Golden Boot race in the 2024 Digicel Fiji Premier League after two rounds of competition.

The Suva forward has four goals to his name after netting a brace in each of the Whites’ matches against Ba and Rewa.

Nand is closely followed by Nasinu marksman Ratu Apenisa Anare and Nadi Captain William Valetine, who both have found the net three times this season.

Last season’s winner, Sairusi Nalabu has so far netted two goals and is equal with fellow teammate Usman Omede, Ba pair of Etonia Dogalau and Mohammed Raheem, Nadi’s Nilkash Singh and Navua’s Solomon Islands import Ali Mekawir.
