Waranivalu to lead Fiji Bula Boys

Rewa’s experienced midfielder Tevita Waranivalu has been named Captain of the Digicel Fiji National Football Team’s International Friendly against hosts, Solomon Islands.

“The spirit in the camp is good, we’re really looking forward to the matches against Solomon Islands football. I want to encourage all the local supporters here in the Solomon Islands to come and support us,”

“We’ve got a young and energetic squad that believes they can get the job done,” he stated.

The team will face the Solomon Islands National Team in the first leg of the FIFA March Window International Friendlies at Lawsum Tama Stadium, today at 4 pm local time.

The teams will meet again for the return leg at the same venue on Thursday, March 21, at 2 pm.
