FNPF announces new contribution rate

The Fiji National Provident Fund has indicated that the contribution rate will increase next year.

Earlier this year in July, Parliament passed an Act to increase the mandated contributions by employers and employees from 6% to 7% from 01 January, as part of temporary reliefs provided to employers and employees during the pandemic.

Currently, employers are contributing 6%, while members are also contributing the same percentages to their accounts.

This will come into effect from 01 January for both employers and FNPF members.
