Tabuya summoned to appear before PA Committee

Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection Lynda Tabuya has confirmed she has been summoned to appear before the People’s Alliance disciplinary subcommittee on Monday.

In a media conference, Tabuya said that she is exercising her right to respond to the allegation into a complaint lodged against her by a fellow Party member last month.

“I stand ready to appear before the committee. I have been summoned to appear before the committee on Monday, and I have been given until this Friday (today) to respond.”

Last month, PAP General-Secretary Usaia Waqatairewa confirmed that a written complaint was lodged against Tabuya on allegations of her conduct.

The disciplinary committee is expected to make a decision on the matter later this month.
